The beautiful and sweet young mom is back to find her happy ending. She had won the hearts of millions of viewers on the 15th season of the Bachelor. She thought she had her happy ending when Brad Womack proposed to her in the end. Unfortunately her relationship with Brad ended. Emily is ready for her luck to change and to bring love back into her life.
Emily
Maynard, age 25, a single mom to a lovely daughter named Ricki. Her story is
tragic but fulfilling life before the bachelor even started. In 2004 she was
engaged to a famed NASCAR driver and team owner Ricky Hendrick. Without
warning, Hendrick died in a plane crash in October 2004. Emily was pregnant
with Ricki when he died. Her daughter Ricki was born June 29, 2005.
When
people saw her on the Bachelor, fans fell in love with her strength, passion,
and southern charm as a mother and woman. During the season of being the
bachelorette she is hoping to find a man that can make her laugh, doesn’t take
himself too seriously and can be her best friend. Hopefully third time is the
charm.
Emily’s
home is in Charlotte, NC. She leads a busy life serving as a full-time mom for
six year old Ricki. But she finds the time to volunteer to help children. She
helps with the Hendrick Marrow program, Levine Children’s Hospital, lunch buddy
program at Hidden Valley Middle School, and a jewelry class that she teaches at
an underfunded middle school.
Emily
truly feels like she can find her soul mate on the Bachelorette.
